Brendan MacMillan isn’t the type to slow down and soak it in, but this moment deserves it! After a year that pushed every part of the business, he’s landed two standout honors at the 2025 San Diego Real Producers Awards Gala. Brendan has been named one of San Diego’s Top 35 Under 35 and selected as a finalist for the Male Rise and Grind award!
These awards are not handed out lightly. San Diego is home to more than 15,000 active real estate professionals. This recognition comes from San Diego Real Producers, a community-driven platform that highlights the top-tier performers who lead with excellence and consistency. Finalists are nominated by their peers, which means Brendan’s name rose to the top based on the respect and recognition of those who’ve seen him in action.
And here’s what makes it even more impressive: Brendan isn’t a licensed agent. He isn’t even based in San Diego! But his work runs straight through the city’s most competitive market, and his impact speaks for itself.
Agents, investors, and industry leaders have watched Brendan stay consistent, stay sharp, and keep delivering when the market got unpredictable. At REsolve, we couldn’t be prouder to have him leading our acquisitions team. His work reflects our values and sets the tone for how we show up in this industry.
He was nominated for his discipline, the way he solves problems without cutting corners, and the honesty he brings to every conversation.
“This has been my hardest year in the business, and I think that’s true for a lot of people,” Brendan said. “But sticking to the basics, building relationships, and staying true to the process is what pulled us through.”
Brendan joined REsolve four and a half years ago during a time when most companies had hit pause on hiring. Fresh out of college and ready to work, he jumped into acquisitions and never looked back. Today, he leads REsolve’s acquisitions team, overseeing every deal that comes through the door and guiding a tight group of sales professionals who operate with precision and urgency.
He’s not the kind of leader who sits back and manages from a distance. Brendan is walking properties, working through numbers, taking calls, and negotiating deals right alongside his team. He tracks performance, sets clear goals, and keeps communication wide open. His leadership style is rooted in collaboration and transparency, with a strong focus on the daily fundamentals that drive long-term results.
“We call it burgers and fries,” Brendan said. “It’s about doing the basics every single day. Calls, leads, follow-ups, KPIs. Nothing flashy. Just doing the work.”
REsolve’s success in a shifting market is no accident. With Brendan at the helm of acquisitions, the team continues to hit targets, close deals, and maintain trust with agents and investors across the region.
This past year has tested the industry. Interest rates climbed, buyer sentiment shifted, and deal flow dropped. It became harder to make things pencil, and even harder to keep momentum.
In the middle of all that, Brendan closed over $54 million in volume between September 2024 and September 2025. He led 56 transactions in a market that required more time, more focus, and stronger fundamentals. Every one of those deals came through hands-on work: sourcing, walking properties, running numbers, and negotiating outcomes that made sense.
Brendan’s work also powered over $2.1 million in agent commissions over the past year. Right now, REsolve is paying out more than $300,000 each month to agents in our network. That kind of momentum means people are getting paid, deals are staying alive, and strong partnerships are being built across the board.
Brendan is present in every part of the deal. He’s on the phones, out in the field, working through the strategy, and handling the details. He stays fully invested, pushes for progress, and brings others with him.
The Male Rise and Grind Award celebrates a real estate professional who brings grit, consistency, and drive into their work every single day. Brendan doesn’t just meet the mark. He sets the standard.
He has stayed present through a challenging market. He has led his team with focus. He has supported agents, closed deals, and kept things moving with steady, thoughtful leadership. The industry sees it. That is why this nomination carries real weight.
It came from the people who understand what this work takes. It came from those who have watched Brendan do it at the highest level.
Voting is open now and closes on October 29.
Winners will be announced at the San Diego Real Producers Gala on November 7.
If Brendan has supported your deal, strengthened your business, or raised the standard for what this industry should look like, this is the moment to show up for him.
Let’s help him get the recognition he deserves!
